Modesta BC-06 Glass Coating

Modesta BC-06 Glass Coating is a silica coating material. It is one of the most popular glass coating liquids in Japan. The process for applying BC-06 glass coating is also imported from Japan, which is one of the world’s most technologically advanced country.

BC-06 Glass Coating encases automobile painting in a protection of hard and flat glass. Glass coating is different from wax or paint sealants which are resin based. Resin is organic material so it deteriorates with external factors which are ultraviolet rays, acid rain and so on. BC-06 Glass Coating is an inorganic glass liquid. It initiates a chemical reaction when it goes through the painted surface and then the glass coating becomes hard. The hardness and hydrophlic property of silica glass protect against dirt.
 
BC-06 glass coating does not bubble or delaminate due to constant sun exposure because it does not use adhesives. BC-06 glass coating does not burn and does not exude toxic fumes.

Adhesion of Modesta BC-06

 
Adhesion of Quartz Strong adhesion is due to the reaction of chemical bonding, between BC-06 and functional groups such as OH and COOH. BC-06 has compatibility with resin such as polyacrylate or polyurethane, it shows good adhesion as well. To paint surface of cars, OH functional group on the surface will bond chemically with BC-06.
